Following a bunch of FA Cup fifth-round ties in midweek, the Premier League returns this weekend, with four teams set to enjoy a double Gameweek.

Let’s start by looking at the upcoming fixtures, before checking out the top Gameweek 24 picks. Remember – Gameweek 24 deadline is 11:00 (GMT) on Saturday, February 13.

• Leicester vs. Liverpool

• Crystal Palace vs. Burnley

• Man City vs. Tottenham

• Brighton vs. Aston Villa

• Southampton vs. Wolves

• West Brom vs. Man Utd

• Arsenal vs. Leeds

• Everton vs. Fulham

• West Ham vs. Sheff Utd

• Chelsea vs. Newcastle

• Everton vs. Man City

• Burnley vs. Fulham

As you can see, Everton, Man City, Burnley and Fulham all play twice in Gameweek 24, meaning you should be looking to pack your FPL team with players from those clubs.

Leicester and Liverpool meet for an important top-four clash, while second-place Man Utd travel to second-bottom West Brom.

Goalkeepers

Ederson (Man City) has two chances to add to his outstanding shutout record in Gameweek 24. The Brazilian has already kept 13 clean sheets in 21 games this term (61.9%).

Vicente Guaita (Crystal Palace) and Alphonse Areola (Fulham) could also be in line for a clean sheet, coming up against the league’s lowest scorers – Burnley – in Gameweek 24.

Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester) has achieved two straight shutouts in the Premier League, so he will fancy his chances of keeping another clean sheet against misfiring Liverpool this weekend.

Defenders

It really is difficult to look past Man City’s defenders at the moment, with Ruben Dias, John Stones, Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo all picking up plenty of FPL points in recent weeks.

Stuart Dallas (Leeds) accumulated a whopping 12 points in the previous round, while Lewis Dunk (Brighton), James Justin (Leicester) and Aaron Cresswell each claimed nine points.

With Everton enjoying a double Gameweek, Michael Keane, Mason Holgate, Ben Godfrey and Seamus Coleman could also pick up numerous points in the coming days.

Midfielders

Phil Foden (Man City) was the highest-scoring midfielder in the previous round (16 points), picking up a goal and an assist, as well as bonus points, in the 4-1 thrashing of Liverpool.

Miguel Almiron (Newcastle), Ilkay Gundogan (Man City), Jorginho (Chelsea) and Abdoulaye Doucoure (Everton) are also among the league’s in-form midfielders at the moment.

Fulham midfielders Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ivan Cavaleiro and Ademola Lookman look set to pick up a healthy number of points, with the Cottagers playing two matches in the space of four days.

Forwards

Harry Kane (Tottenham) returned from injury with a goal in Spurs’ midweek FA Cup clash against Everton. The England captain has a mammoth 151 FPL points to his name.

Patrick Bamford (Leeds) is now the second-highest scorer forward in the game. The striker has racked up two goals and three assists in his last three outings, taking his tally for the season to 12 goals and six assists.

Although they have a double Gameweek, Man City don’t exactly have an out-an-out forward who is guaranteed to start.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton), Timo Werner (Chelsea), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and Edinson Cavani (Man Utd) were the top-four highest-scoring forwards in the previous round.
