Premier League Fantasy Football Picks – Round 27
2305

Following a mammoth Gameweek 26 that spanned across 12 days, you can finally make some long-awaited changes to your Fantasy Football team. So, let’s take a look at some of the Premier League’s in-form players to see if they can make a difference this in Round 27.

With Chelsea vs. Tottenham and Leicester vs. Manchester City coming up this weekend, there is no shortage of exciting fixtures to look forward to.

Goalkeeper

Dean Henderson – Sheffield United

Despite being a relatively cheap option compared to the likes of Alisson and Ederson, Henderson is the FPL’s highest scoring goalkeeper this season. With games against relegation strugglers Brighton, Aston Villa and Norwich just around the corner, Sheff Utd and Henderson are set to claim more clean sheets in the coming weeks.

Defenders

Jack Stephens – Southampton

While Danny Ings has led Saints’ recent resurgence in attack, Jack Stephens has been equally important at the other end of the pitch. The centre-back has registered double figures in three of the last nine Gameweeks, so he is an excellent value defensive pick.

Harry Maguire – Manchester United

Not only did Maguire keep a clean sheet against Chelsea last time out, the England defender also scored his first Premier League goal for United. Maguire will be confident of putting in another positive performance against Watford this weekend.

Midfielders

Nicolas Pepe – Arsenal

It’s fair to say that Nicolas Pepe endured a pretty slow start to life at the Emirates. The Ivorian has taken time to adapt to the English top-flight, but his performances of late have caught the eye. Pepe registered two assists against Newcastle last time out, while also getting on the scoresheet himself. He is expected to play a pivotal role for Arsenal from now until the end of the season.

Sadio Mane – Liverpool

Sadio Mane returned from injury last weekend to score Liverpool’s only goal in their win over Norwich. The Canaries frustrated Jurgen Klopp’s side, but Mane was able to come off the bench and find the winner. Mane will surely come back into the starting line-up for the Reds’ visit of West Ham.

Forwards

Dominic Calvert-Lewin – Everton

Calvert-Lewin is undoubtedly on of the Premier League’s in-form strikers right now. The 22-year-old has netted six goals in his last eight games and also bagged a goal and an assist in his previous outing. The Toffees forward will be licking his lips at the thought of facing Arsenal’s dodgy defense on Sunday.

Callum Wilson – Bournemouth

Callum Wilson’s return to form has come at just the right time for Bournemouth. The striker has scored two goals in his previous three appearances and will be looking to add to his tally as he battles to keep the Cherries in the Premier League.
