Fantasy Premier League – FPL Picks, Best Players and More for Gameweek 13
2968

We have a speedy turnaround in Fantasy Premier League this week. Gameweek 12 may have only finished on Thursday, but the Gameweek 13 deadline is scheduled for 11:00 (BST) on Saturday.

Manchester City and Arsenal return after blanking in GW12. Pep Guardiola’s side host Brighton on Saturday, while the Gunners visit Southampton on Sunday. Let’s check out the fixtures before going over the best players for FPL GW13.

• Nottm Forest vs. Liverpool

• Everton vs. Crystal Palace

• Man City vs. Brighton

• Chelsea vs. Man Utd

• Wolves vs. Leicester

• Aston Villa vs. Brentford

• Southampton vs. Arsenal

• Leeds vs. Fulham

• Tottenham vs. Newcastle

• West Ham vs. Bournemouth

Liverpool have a hugely favourable fixture against Nottingham Forest, while West Ham have a nice home clash with Bournemouth to look forward to. Elsewhere, Chelsea vs. Manchester United is arguably the tie of the round.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the best FPL players for GW13.

Goalkeepers

Alisson (Liverpool) is arguably the best goalkeeper for GW13. Fresh from saving a penalty and keeping a clean sheet in midweek, the Brazilian will be confident of achieving another shutout against struggling Forest.

Elsewhere, Nick Pope (Newcastle) heads into GW13 on the back of two straight clean sheets. The returning Ederson (Man City) is also an excellent option, given that Brighton have gone three games without a goal.

Defenders

Kieran Tripper (Newcastle) is now the highest-scoring defender in the game. The right-back has racked up eight hauls of 6+ points this season, picking up plenty of bonus points along the way.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) and Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) are back from injury and firing again. Joao Cancelo (Man City) and William Saliba (Arsenal) are also among the best defensive picks between now and the World Cup.

Midfielders

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Fred (Man Utd) and Miguel Almiron (Newcastle) all claimed 10 points in GW12. They are also priced at £5.6m or under, making them standout budget picks in midfield.

Priced at £8.4m and £7.9m, respectively, Phil Foden (Man City) and Bukayo (Arsenal) present unrivalled value at their price point. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) could have a field day against Forest’s leaky backline.

Forwards

Erling Haaland (Man City) returns to action after missing GW12. Having bagged 15 goals and three assists in ten league outings this season, the lethal striker is a must-have for GW13 and beyond.

Darwin Nunez (Liverpool) and Che Adams (Southampton) both found the back of the net in midweek, while Odsonne Edouard (Crystal Palace) grabbed an assist. Will they continue to fire this weekend?
