Fantasy Premier League – Top Picks for FPL Gameweek 34
1828

Chelsea and Manchester United play twice in Gameweek 34, with the Blues also doubling in GW36. Naturally, you should be looking to add multiple Chelsea assets to your FPL team this week.

Elsewhere, Manchester City have a hugely favourable fixture against relegation-doomed Watford. There is also the small matter of the Merseyside Derby to look forward to.

Here are the FPL Gameweek 34 fixtures.

  • Arsenal vs. Man Utd
  • Leicester vs. Aston Villa
  • Man City vs. Watford
  • Norwich vs. Newcastle
  • Brentford vs. Tottenham
  • Burnley vs. Wolves
  • Chelsea vs. West Ham
  • Brighton vs. Southampton
  • Liverpool vs. Everton
  • Crystal Palace vs. Leeds
  • Man Utd vs. Chelsea

It’s time to examine the best FPL players for Gameweek 34. Although Chelsea and Man Utd players will be the popular picks this week, there are plenty of other players to consider.

Goalkeepers

Since Chelsea and Man Utd are the only teams that double up this week, Edouard Mendy (Chelsea) and David De Gea (Man Utd) are the best goalkeepers for FPL Gameweek 34.

In terms of Single Gameweek goalkeepers, Ederson (Man City), Alisson (Liverpool), Nick Pope (Burnley), Robert Sanchez (Brighton) and Vicente Guaita (Crystal Palace) are the top options.

Defenders

Given Man Utd’s dismal defensively display in Tuesday’s 4-0 thrashing against Liverpool, it makes sense to steer clear of United defenders for GW34 – despite the Red Devils playing twice.

This means Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea), Reece James (Chelsea) and Marcos Alonso (Chelsea) are the best Double Gameweek defenders to go for.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) and Joao Cancelo (Man City) are arguably the best Single Gameweek defenders for GW34.

Midfielders

When it comes to Double Gameweek midfielders, Mason Mount (Chelsea), Kai Havertz (Chelsea), Bruno Fernandes (Man Utd) and Jadon Sancho (Man Utd) are all worth considering.

Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne (Man City), Riyad Mahrez (Man City) and any other Man City midfielder could run riot against lowly Watford.

If you’re searching for an in-form budget midfielder, look no further than the likes of Jack Harrison (Leeds), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford) and Leandro Trossard (Brighton).

Forwards

Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd) missed the midweek humiliation at the hands of Liverpool, but he should be back to lead the line for the Red Devils against Arsenal and Chelsea.

Timo Werner (Chelsea) and Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea) could also pick up plenty of points across the Double Gameweek, as well as the likes of Harry Kane (Tottenham) and Chris Wood (Newcastle).
