Gameweek 6 gets underway with not one, but two big lunchtime kick-offs. Chelsea and Manchester City face off at Stamford Bridge, while Manchester United host Aston Villa at Old Trafford.

We also have the small matter of the North London Derby to look forward to, before Crystal Palace and Brighton renew their rivalry on Monday night.

Here is the Gameweek 6 schedule in full.

• Chelsea vs. Manchester City

• Manchester United vs. Aston Villa

• Leicester vs. Burnley

• Everton vs. Norwich

• Leeds vs. West Ham

• Watford vs. Newcastle

• Brentford vs. Liverpool

• Southampton vs. Wolves

• Arsenal vs. Tottenham

• Crystal Palace vs. Brighton

Without further ado, let’s check out the best FPL picks for Gameweek 6

Goalkeepers

It feels like you can’t go wrong with Edouard Mendy (Chelsea), Alisson (Liverpool) and Ederson (Man City) right now. Of course, they are all expensive options. But they have only conceded one goal apiece in the Premier League this season.

If you’re looking for a more affordable goalkeeper pick, David Raya (Brentford) has only conceded two goals in five games, while Robert Sanchez (Brighton) has conceded just four goals.

Defenders

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) should return this weekend after missing the previous round through illness. At the opposite end of the price spectrum, Shane Duffy (Brighton) and Tino Livramento (Southampton) are great options.

Duffy has notched a goal and an assist this season, while Livramento has played every single second for Saints this term – achieving back-to-back shutouts against West Ham and Man City.

Matty Cash (Aston Villa), Thiago Silva (Chelsea) and Antonio Rudiger (Chelsea) all scored and kept a clean sheet last weekend.

Midfielders

Ismaila Sarr (Watford) has adapted to the Premier League seamlessly, bagging three goals in five matches. With struggling Newcastle up next for the Hornets, he – along with teammate Moussa Sissoko (Watford) – should pick up points this weekend.

If Mohamad Salah (Liverpool) isn’t in your team, get him in there! The Egyptian King has started the campaign in ruthless form, notching four goals and two assists in five league outings.

Martin Odegaard (Arsenal), Said Benrahma (West Ham), Leon Bailey (Aston Villa) and Bryan Mbuemo (Brentford) also claimed decent points hauls last weekend.

Forwards

Michail Antonio (West Ham) returns from suspension this weekend. He has already amassed a whopping 39 points this term, despite missing matches. Jamie Vardy (Leicester) is Antonio’s nearest challenger in the forward department, with 29 points to his name.

Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo (Man Utd) and Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea) are always worth considering. Keep an eye out for less-favored forwards like Allan Saint-Maximin (Newcastle) and Neal Maupay (Brighton), as they could prove to be great differential picks.
