The semi-finals of the Champions League are already here! Atletico Madrid and Chelsea will determine one of this year's finalists of the most prestigious football tournament in the world. Lately, Chelsea are one of the traditional contenders for the title, while Atletico Madrid have a great opportunity to play in the Champions League final for the first time since 1974.

Atletico Madrid are playing one of their best seasons in club history. At present, they occupy the first place in the Spanish La Liga and have a real chance to triumph in the Champions League. Under the management of Diego Simeone, Atletico won the other two major European titles - Europa League and Super Cup.

Atletico Madrid perform outstandingly in front of own audience this season, as they have not lost a home game in the domestic league and the Champions League. On the other hand, Chelsea don`t impress in their visits, losing 3 of the last 4 away games.

The Premier League title slips out of Jose Mourinho, especially after the home defeat by Sunderland last weekend. Accordingly, we can expect Chelsea to throw all efforts to win the Champions League. Who else but Jose Mourinho can come up with a plan for success over the superb Atletico.
