Crystal Palace are only outside the Premier League relegation zone on goal difference and are on a terrible run of form in the top-flight. This Saturday the Eagles host improving Everton at Selhurst Park, as Sam Allardyce’s team attempt to move away from the drop zone.

The Eagles may have lifted spirits with a 2-1 win over League One Bolton in the FA Cup in midweek, but in the top-flight, they have been poor of late. In fact, the side from north London have won just one of their last 15 top-flight games.

Their form at Selhurst Park has not been great either, as the Eagles have suffered six defeats in their last seven league games on home soil. To make matters worse the Eagles have also conceded two or more goals in four of their last six home games in the league.

Everton arrive in the capital in high spirits following last weekend’s 4-0 home win over Manchester City. Toffees boss Ronald Koeman out-foxed former Barcelona roommate Pep Guardiola and the Merseysider’s were clinical in front of goal.

Everton have now won four of their last six top-flight games, including three of their last four league outings. Koeman’s side have been prolific in front of goal, too, scoring two or more goals in six of their last seven Premier League games.

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last five visits to Selhurst Park, keeping clean sheets in their last four games at Palace. The statistics seem to suggest that the Merseysider’s have now found form and are looking a lot more dangerous going forward.

A win would not move the visitors any further up the table. However, it would help maintain the positive momentum they have built in recent weeks. Forebet predicts that the visitors will record a win and inflict more misery on the struggling home side.
