On Wednesday night Crystal Palace host Manchester United at Selhurst Park, with both teams aiming to move up the Premier League table.
Both sides form has improved of late and both teams have taken four points from their last two Premier League games. Palace drew 3-3 at Hull in their last outing, with Fraizer Campbell grabbing an 89th-minute equaliser to give the Eagles a draw.
The Eagles form has certainly improved of late, but they have won just one of their last four games in the Premier League at Selhurst Park in the top-flight, suffering three defeats in the process.
Their overall record in the Premier League is poor, as Alan Pardew’s side have won just six of their last 36 games in the top-flight.
Palace’s recent home games have been high-scoring, with over 2.5 goals scored in four of their last five games in the Premier League.
United arrive in the capital in high spirits having defeated Tottenham 1-0 at Old Trafford in their last outing, as Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the only goal of the game.
The victory will have boosted confidence among the United fans and players, after three consecutive draws in the top-flight. United have thrown away leads late on in two of those three recent draws, but their performances have slowly improved.
Their recent games have been low-scoring though, with under 2.5 goals scored in their last four Premier League games.
United are now unbeaten in eight games in all competitions and will be confident of continuing that run at Selhurst Park. The Red Devils have a good recent record against Palace, having lost just one of the last ten meetings with the Eagles.
This could be a bad time for the home side to be facing United. Forebet predicts a win for United, which could move the visitors closer to their objective of a place in the top-four this season.
