Manchester United and Arsenal hard to separate

Two of the giants of English football clash on Saturday lunchtime in the Premier League, as Manchester United host Arsenal at Old Trafford.
The two teams have enjoyed contrasting fortunes of late in the Premier League. The home side have won just one of their last five outings in the top-flight. In contrast, Arsenal have suffered just one defeat all season and are just two points off the top of the table.
However, despite their recent good run, Arsenal have not won at Old Trafford in the top-flight for over a decade. The Gunners have left Manchester previously with just two draws and seven defeats from their last nine visits to United in the Premier League.
Old Trafford has been a wasteland for the men from north London, who will head into the clash without Spanish duo Santi Cazorla and Hector Bellerin. Chilean star Alexis Sanchez is also a doubt having travelled a long distance and endured an injury scare in the process.
United head into the clash without Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic through suspension, which is a blow as the veteran had scored a brace last time out at Swansea. Jose Mourinho’s side are also without defensive trio Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling and Antonio Valencia.
One major positive for the visitors is their recent away form. Arsenal have won their last five games on their travels in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last 12 away games. However, their last away defeat in the Premier League was at Old Trafford against United last season.
This game is a really tough one to call. United’s form has not been great, but their home record is decent and their home record against Arsenal is also good. However, Arsenal head into the clash in good form.
This is likely to be a very close encounter and as such a draw really cannot be ruled out as the likely outcome.
