Arsenal could severely dent Hammers Champions League chances

Third-place Arsenal are currently clinging on to the hope that top of the table Leicester City may slip-up in the race for the Premier League title. The Gunners are 11 points behind Leicester, who have played an extra game.

A trip to London rivals West Ham in Saturday’s early kick-off could all-but finish off Arsene Wenger’s side’s hopes of being crowned champions next month. Arsenal will be desperate to stay in the race for the Premier League title.

West Ham have their own aspirations this season and are currently sixth in the table, trailing fourth-place Manchester City by three points. The Hammers are heading into the clash on the back of three consecutive draws in the top-flight.

This is a vital game for the Hammers and the Gunners have the quality and momentum to severely dent Bilic’s side’s chances of finishing in the top-four this season.

A draw in this one would be no good for either team in this clash, so both will be looking for maximum points.

The home side are currently unbeaten in 13 home games in the Premier League and will once again be looking to French playmaker Dimitri Payet to inspire victory, a player who Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger claims to have decided not to have signed in the past.

Unfortunately for both teams the draw is the most likely outcome in this clash, as both teams have quality players and are heading into the game in high spirits.
